Spearpoint solves the line identification problem with the Quick View Fishing Line Identifier

Visalia, Calif. – Spearpoint Performance Hooks, known for their proven VGrip® Technology, has developed the perfect answer to the pesky question asked by anglers everywhere and all the time: “What line did I put on this combo?”

With Spearpoint’s Quick View Fishing Line Identifier, anglers can tell at a glance exactly what line is on which combo, so they can choose the right outfit to match up with any lure or bait.

Quick View Fishing Line Identifiers are adhesive labels that affix to a rod blank. They’re color-coded for fluorocarbon (orange), monofilament (blue), and braid (green).

“The Quick View Fishing Line Identifiers are a classic example of experiencing a problem and developing a solution,” said Spearpoint president and co-founder Erik Hennesay. “How many times have you looked at a rod and reel and wondered what type or size of line you put on it. Sure, there are some reels that have little dials you can adjust with that information, but they’re small, don’t work very well, and they’re hard to see. Our Line Identifiers are bold and much bigger. They’ll save you time, energy, and frustration.”

Each pack of Quick View Fishing Line Identifiers contains a dozen labels for 10 sizes of fluorocarbon line (6-, 8-, 10-, 12-, 14-, 15-, 16-, 17-, 20-, and 25-pound test), a dozen for six sizes of monofilament line (10-, 12-, 14-, 15-, 17-, and 20-pound test), a dozen for nine sizes of braided line (8-, 10-, 15-, 20-, 30-, 40-, 50-, 65-, and 80-pound test), and 60 blank labels (in the unlikely event you’re using a line that’s not covered).

Spearpoint vice president and co-founder, Art Nubaryan, oversees sales at the company, and was quick to point out the value of the new product. “Each package contains 360 Fishing Line Identifiers to cover virtually any line choice made by virtually any angler, and MSRP is $35. That’s less than a dime each. They’re a great item for anglers who rarely change their line and struggle to remember what’s on a combo and for competitive anglers who change their line daily and have to know what they’re using before it costs them big bucks.”

About Spearpoint Performance Hooks

Spearpoint Performance Hooks is dedicated to ending the heartbreak of lost fish and finding solutions for the nagging problems that prevent perfect fishing days on the water. The company was spawned in 2017 when a couple of fishing buddies — Erik Hennesay and Art Nubaryan — decided to build a fishing hook that prevents fish from coming off. The result is Spearpoint Performance Hooks and patent pending VGrip® technology.

Spearpoint hooks come in styles and sizes to fit any soft plastic lures available today, and there is no more secure connection between line and fish that a Spearpoint hook. Other Spearpoint products solve specific problems that stand between an angler and a perfect day on the water. Spearpoint has the answers and solutions even before they become problems. In short, Spearpoint makes fishing better.

If you’re fishing with Spearpoint, just set the hook and get the net. That fish is caught!
